While the NARFE focus is typically on
national legislative and governmental issues affecting current employees, retirees and annuitants, there are frequently actions
contemplated or taken at the state level that may also impact us. For this reason, the Washington Federation of Chapters
also maintains a state legislative officer, Al Driemeier, who keeps us posted.
