The Washington State Federation of Chapters is a member of the Washington Senior Lobby, an
umbrella organization consisting of nearly 400 organizations in the state that are concerned with senior issues. The
Lobby works closely with Washington state government and the Legislature. They provide frequent reports on their issues
and the status of their efforts. Their reports are attached here:

One of the initial steps taken at the start of the 2010 short legislative session has been
for the Governor to propose a modified budget. The outlines are included in two documents, a letter from Kathy Leitch,
Assistant Secretary ADSA on the Governor's 2010 "Book 2" Supplemental Budget Proposal
and a letter on the Restoration to the Governor's 2010 Supplemental Budget, below.
