Health Fairs

   For several years, the Washington Federation of Chapters has found that FEBHP Health Fairs held at agencies throughout the state are an excellent vehicle for reaching Active Federal Employees with information about NARFE, potentially assisting in chapter recruiting efforts. 
  Elements of these health fairs include:
  - Scheduling
  - Coordinating NARFE Presence
  - Ordering and preparation of NARFE Materials
  - Scheduling, Use and Funding of Displays
  - Preparation of NARFE Presenters
  - Follow-Up with Contact Information

NARFE 2011 Health Fair Flyers - F-132
  On October 25, NARFE posted a downloadable flyer, F-132, "Your  NARFE: Your PREMIUM SOURCE or Information on FEHBP Open Season" on the www.narfe.org web site, in the Member section, under the "Downloadable Forms" heading.  This form is meant to be printed out by the chapter, copied, and handed out at health fairs.  It shows the bi-weekly premiums for the national Fee For Service plans, discusses reasons to join NARFE, and contains a NARFE membership application form.
